If you’re a solo entrepreneur, you likely know exactly what I’ve been talking about in recent months:
- our lives continues to increase,
- information overload continues to mount,
- many solo entrepreneurs are experiencing greater fatigued, irritation and burn-out
At the same time, never before in the history of man have we needed solo entrepreneurs as dearly as we do today! Because it is the holistic business owners who are readjusting how everyone sees things, embraces their challenges and navigates tricky territory.
This is why it’s been imperative to acknowledge our fears, face up to burn-out, embrace the spirit of our businesses and unravel the law of attraction. Not clearing up these issues results in the biggest threat to solo entrepreneurs: The risk of no-one hearing your message of hope!
Once those issues have been cleared up, I’ve learned that solo entrepreneurs and holistic business owners are freed to attract more customers, clients and patients with ease and reliability.
I’ve distilled my experiences, challenges and successes over the past 20 years into a powerful formula I am going to share with you today.
This is a four-part process that I take most of my clients through in order to help them clarify the Spirit of their business and then communicate it in a way that is compelling to the people who need to hear it most.
Key Point: Failure to articulate your compelling message, your good work in the world will not attract clients or customers. True for every industry, service or client-base.
In order to attract the attention of those who need your services most, you only need to be crystal clear on the following three points:
- Your Purpose or Mission (Who you are and why you do what you do)
- Your Benefits (What results do people get from you/your service)
- Your Audience (Who you serve)
All you have to do is get focussed and serious about these three areas.
Part 1: Your Purpose
This step is so easy you are at risk of skipping over the repetition.
Don’t fall into that trap.
The power is to write and rewrite from a relaxed mental state, not over-thinking, not over-analyzing.
Allow yourself to freely associate and don’t let your pen come off the page — just dump it all out. I’ll have you circle around later.

The next step is to simply put this list aside for at least 24 hours.
No cheating, either!
After the minimum of 24 hours have passed, then you may return and adjust your list.
Finally, put this aside and move on to the second part — even if, especially if, you feel this is incomplete. Trust in the process. It’s power will unfold as you go through the remaining three parts.
Congratulations, you are on the way to attracting the ideal customer to your services, products and offers!
What you are actually doing is crafting messages of hope to those who need your services — this process allows you to drop “modality speak” and package the pain you know how to relieve or remove into a meaningful, “compelling message” which draws customers and clients into your circle of influence. And that’s a good thing.
Because it eliminates the number one threat to your business success: When no one hears your message of hope…
