If you don’t know what you really want to Be, Do or Have in this life. If you’re not sure what your ‘soul purpose’ might be, then I have one question for you: “What do you value most?” Maybe you value your interpersonal relationships and helping others. Maybe you value the natural world, or pets or travel. Maybe you value family or fitness, or getting to the bottom of mysteries. Whatever it is, this most-important-thing is a big clue to creating a life that’s right for you.
Avoiding the ‘How’
There’s something that often gets in the way of discovering and then living your soul purpose. If you let this question rear it’s ugly head, you’re going to surely have a hard time fulfilling your soul’s sacred purpose. As soon as you start trying to wrangle with the ‘how’ you’re in for trouble! Why? Because the How of anything is neither your business nor your responsibility. The How is the job of your greatest self – your Soul. Your job is simply to attune with what makes your heart sing (the thing(s) you value most), and then following that as much as possible.
Trusting
Avoiding asking too many ‘how’ questions is all about trusting. It’s about trusting in the magic and miracles of a universal force that will work in service to your intent – whatever that intent is. So if you’re frequently fretting over what doesn’t work in your life, this universal force (your Soul, higher self, God) will give you more of it. Thus, the best thing you can do is put forth as clear a signal as possible – a signal of love and appreciation – about what you value most.
You can do this through straight-forward gratitude, through visualizing yourself living exactly in alignment with what you value most, through being in a state of appreciation and positive energy for all you are experiencing, by looking for things to make you smile, and by ‘acting as if …’ what you want is already manifested.
The Big Question
So then, the really big, question is …. What do you value most? Share it (with as much lavish appreciation as possible) in the comments below.
Many blessings,
Dawn
