    Hi Dawn,
    I have enjoyed your journey over several years, and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate who you are as an inherent inspiration to all, and especially to women, it is our time to share who we are in a larger way, thank you for supporting this by example.

    So, I watched your Detox and Cleanse videos, I have done some short term cleanses/detoxes (3-5 days) using commercial products and/or researching on my own, but never with the conviction and duration of a 5/10 day liver flush/ fast. My fears? Wondering about the strength of my conviction to maintain this length of fast while still socializing with friends, temptations, etc. Doing this in an educated way that is best for my particular body.
    Your videos have been really informative from sharing your energetic/body response levels to the awareness of the spiritual and atmospheric/circumstantial influences/changes and responses to those.

    I am very interested in what links you offer to be able to do this at home, safely and most effectively, what herbs, supplements, concoctions to take throughout. I am also open to the possibility of joining you on a “workshop” to do this fast/cleanse/detox in Chiang Mai in the future.

      Hi Terry,

      Thanks so very much for your wonderful feedback. I’m very glad to hear from you! Here are my responses to your questions & concerns:

      1. Fasting while maintaining a ‘regular’ life: Now THIS is challenging! It can be done, (I’ve done it), but I basically hermited up in my home so as not to be tempted to food. Veggie smoothies with lots of garlic also helps curb the appetite!

      2. Fasting at a center: in the western world, to do what I have done is prohibitively expensive for most folks. This is why Thailand has become such a popular detox destination. When you immerse yourself in such a supportive environment, it makes it much easier to do longer fasts, with 7-7.5 days apparently being optimal for really getting the body to clean out.

      3. Links for home detox – I will ask around about this. I don’t have a particular recommendation. Generally though, I often recommend the LongevityNow warehouse because his products are excellent: http://www.longevitywarehouse.com/ you can search for detox products. Particularly you’ll need: Colema Board & supplies; psyllium husks & bentonite clay for making the detox drinks, some kind of herbal support for cleansing the small intestines, and finally, flora-grow or other pro & pre-biotics for re-populating the intestines with good bacteria.
